Today I welcome children's author Sheree Elaine as she shares about writing her recent release, and answers some tough questions for us.

Getting to know Sheree:

• What 3 fun or unique things can you tell us about yourself?
• I have been a yoga teacher for almost 10 years!
• I sang in a David Archuleta concert as a teenager
• I grew up in Albuquerque, NM
• What do you enjoy most about writing?
• I love the organization of writing. I love creating and watching the black words form across a blank page. I love creating content that is fun for kids to read but also fun for parents to read aloud to their kids.
• What can your readers expect from you next?
• In 2024 I will be writing 2-3 more book in the Dragon for Dinner Series, as well as an adult Fantasy book that I’m keeping pretty secret for now… shhhh…
• How did you get started writing?
• My kids came home with a book from school that the whole school was reading together. A great idea! However, as I began to read the book to my kids, it could barely hold MY attention, let alone theirs! I wanted to write books for kids that were fun for parents and kids alike.

About Sheree:

Sheree Elaine is passionate about reading, specifically reading to children. So, naturally, her writing journey was sparked by the idea of a series of books that could be read aloud to her own children and enjoyed by parents and children around the world. She’s a city girl who married a farm boy and together they have jumped from small town to small town for over 10 years. Sheree finds time to write during naptime and bedtime, working around the schedules of her husband and four kids. Sheree has a degree in Communications, over a decade of parenting experience, and a big black dog named Ren.
